At UpSkill, we respect your right to privacy and are committed to complying with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and international best practices. 

This page explains how you can request the deletion of your data that may be collected when using our website, apps, or related services.

How to request data deletion.

If you would like us to delete your personal data, please follow one of the options below:

By Email:
Send us an email to support@up-skill.co.nz with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Please include your full name and email address so we can identify your record. 

By Contact Form: 
Submit a request using our online contact form. Please include the words "Data Deletion Request" in your message. 

Once we receive your request, our team will process it and confirm when your data has been removed from our systems. 

What data can be deleted.

Upon request, we will delete the following: 

  • Account details you have provided (such as name, email and phone number). 
  • Any product purchase history and related information, unless retention is required for legal or tax purposes. 
  • Any data collected by our apps or integrations, where applicable. 
  • If you're a current client or have ongoing business with UpSkill, we'll discuss which information is needed for active projects. You can request deletion of non-essential personal data. We'll explain any information we need to keep and why. 


Please note, certain records (such as completed transactions and invoices) must be retained for the period required by New Zealand law (e.g., for tax and accounting purposes). After the mandatory retention period expires, these will also be deleted securely.

If you believe your data has been misused, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (OPC) in New Zealand: https://www.privacy.org.nz/
